Let me tell you folks, the AUCTION is NOT the place for the cheapest cars, on average. The advantage to an auction is that there are hundreds and in many cases thousands of cars for sale in ONE place. Thats nice b/c you should be able to buy a number of vehicles near wholesale.
So, if its not the auction, then where are the cheapest cars? Well, the number one place for cheap cars are dealer trade-ins. Because we all know that dealers steal cars from their customers. These are the cheapest cars in the country by a long mile. However, its a TOUGH place to buy because its a "good ole boy" network that has been there for a LONG time.
So, where else are CHEAP cars? My best purchases has always been "off the street". You know, the cars parked in front of Walmart or your local grocery store. These cars can turn out to be very profitable. Make sure you are stopping and looking at cars for sale on the side of the road. These can turn out to be gold mines. Yes, even if you are a dealer it never hurts to stop and look. |
